Description

Join us in shaping the cultural heart of Richmond and Wandsworth by leading and shaping the future of our arts, parks, and events. We are looking for an inspiring and innovative leader to drive forward high-profile services that are cherished by our residents and play a key role in shaping vibrant, inclusive communities.

As Head of Arts, Parks and Events, you will provide strategic direction, lead major capital and transformation projects, and ensure the seamless delivery of services that enhance the public realm. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Culture and Leisure, you will manage key service areas and contracts, shape resident focussed policy and ensure services reflect the diverse needs of the community.

This role presents an opportunity to lead high-impact services, balancing operational leadership with ambitious project delivery. Your leadership will drive community engagement, innovation, and excellence across arts, parks, and events, ensuring that services not only meet but exceed the expectations of residents.

We are seeking a forward-thinking leader with experience overseeing complex service areas, managing large budgets, and delivering transformation in a public sector or similar environment. The successful candidate will thrive in partnership settings, engaging with stakeholders, and driving collaboration across council services, community groups, and statutory partners.

If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for arts, parks, and events – and have the leadership and experience to match – we would love to hear from you.

Why Join Us?
