This is your chance to shape the future of culture and leisure services across Richmond and Wandsworth. As part of a expansion of services, we are creating this new role to lead innovative, high-impact programmes and services that enrich the lives of residents. We’re looking for a collaborative, creative, dynamic leader to deliver bold, exciting change across sports, leisure, parks, arts, and events – shaping the future of two of London’s most vibrant boroughs.

Reporting to the Director of Culture & Leisure, you’ll play a crucial role in building strong and empowered teams, delivering ambitious capital programmes, launching major events, and forging partnerships that put Richmond and Wandsworth at the forefront of cultural innovation. This role will focus on delivering projects that truly matter to local communities, ensuring every initiative reflects the diverse needs of our residents.

We want a strategic, forward-thinking leader with a track record of delivering transformational change in partnership with internal and external partners. You’ll need to inspire teams, manage large budgets, and bring fresh ideas to create exceptional services that leave a lasting impact.
